Female Force: A Graceful and Elegant Residential House Design

Transforming Textures and Lines to Manifest Gentle Persistence

MA KAI CHUN, the renowned designer behind Female Force, has created a residential house design that exudes grace and elegance. Through a combination of profession and tenderness, the viewers are able to witness the context of space and life. By arranging the textures in order and extending the chroma of the gray scale, the designer has created a graceful image of glory, strengthening the elegant order with fluency.

The design of Female Force showcases unique properties that set it apart from others in its category. The use of elaborate materials and meticulous attention to detail elevate the space, creating an atmosphere of luxury and sophistication. The TV wall, for instance, forms two traffic flows, serving as a shield to separate the foyer from the living room. The suspended design highlights the extra large stone pattern floor tiles, making the space appear larger. The wave-shaped ceiling design adds a softness to the atmosphere, embodying the gentle female image.

The realization of Female Force is a testament to the designer's skill and creativity. The three designing elements of woman, glory, and elaborate material come together to create a style that exudes subtle luxury. The suspended TV wall creates transparency and lightness, producing a sense of visual space. The white layers shelf on one side adds dynamic visual effects, while the custom-made metal screen door mesh on the extending wood veneer cabinet functions as both a heat dissipation mechanism and an aesthetic feature.

The design specifications of Female Force include an indoor space of approximately 200 square feet. The project, which started in May 2017, was completed in January 2018 in Taipei city. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to ensure the best possible outcome. Handmade decorative strips and sloped ceiling lighting were utilized to create light shades and dimension in the space. The curve decoration was incorporated to avoid a sense of oppression from the beams, while the careful selection and application of materials, proportion, and chroma contributed to the sense of glory in the space.

Overcoming various challenges, MA KAI CHUN successfully created a design that harmoniously blends functionality and aesthetics. The ceiling, for example, serves as the second traffic flow in the space. The handmade bevel lines, matched with the pointing frame, hide the height disparity and prevent a sense of oppression from the beams. The wave-shaped ceiling in the dining room, enhanced with piano lacquer and lighting design, creates a shining visual impression reminiscent of flowing water, symbolizing the interaction of emotions between family members.

Female Force is a testament to the power of design in creating spaces that reflect the unique characteristics and personalities of its inhabitants. MA KAI CHUN's meticulous attention to detail and creativity have resulted in a residential house design that exudes grace, elegance, and a sense of luxury.
